AutoCycle™ Plus

The AutoCycle™ Plus system is a compact Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) designed for complete stand-alone operation in the harsh environmental conditions of the oilfield.

The unit incorporates an extremely versatile microcomputer electronics module and software program system. Configurable via any PC-compatible computer, the module provides continuous monitoring and control of the well-production process. Its onboard software program includes our patented AutoCycle™ plunger-lift control algorithm.

A standard controller offers pre-defined software and physical connection points for various analog pressure sensors, such as casing and tubing, as well as various discrete (status) sensors, can be equipped with virtually any point-to-point radio or cellular/wire modem for linking with the host computer. Pneumatic signals to the well's tubing and auxiliary control valves are supplied from a remote single or dual latching valve assembly

This system combines our most advanced AutoCycle™ electronic well site controller and Windows®-base operator interface software for laptop or desktop PC. Automating numerous functions, the controller records the analytical reservoir information so production problems can be diagnosed with greater accuracy and efficiency.

Data Simpler to Use and Configure

Data presentation is provided by the PC software in a format that is simple to use and easy to configure, giving you fingertip access to well and equipment status, pressures, flow measurement and control functions 24 hours a day. Data can be displayed on one of three screens: Field Map, Well Schematic, or Trend Profile, providing operations, engineering and accounting departments with quality data in an easy-to-use host computer format.
AutoCycle™ Plus offers immediacy and accuracy unavailable with conventional dry chart recorders. Flow pressures and temperatures are digitized every second, then recorded to a continuous trend profile with user-selectable resolution. Data is stored within the controller and captured, via telemetry, by the host computer for permanent archive and calculation. Because the system maintains the archived data in its original raw format, any disputed volume computation can readily be resolved through recalculation. Flow volumes are calculated using AGA-3 and AGA-8 formulae in accordance with the most current API® standards.

Performance-Proven Optimization

The AutoCycle™ Plus controller offers proven production optimization utilizing our patented AutoCycle™ control algorithm. With automatic self-adjustment of time and pressure settings for controlling the well's production cycles, optimum plunger velocity and well performance are achieved. The system offers a unique approach to well production management, measurement and optimization. With AutoCycle™ Plus on duty, you can have remote control of motor valves, even monitor tanks and pits for high level alarms. It's like having an operator on site 24 hours a day.
